💚 2023 – A year in review

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
Hej,

As we prepare to embark on the holiday season, we'd like to take a moment to look back at a few highlights of 2023. We encourage you to do the same! Take some time in the days ahead to celebrate your accomplishments. In the meantime – Another Tomorrow's year in review! See you on the flip side.

Transition View

Take control of your green transition

We kicked the year off with the launch of Transition View, a tool to map and measure corporate internal capabilities required for an orderly green transition.

In short, the tool measures your internal coordination capacity, a prerequisite to seize the opportunities to meet your transition goals. Sustainability is not a separate issue for a specific department but something that concerns everyone within an organisation.

We look forward to leveraging Transition View in the new year with our clients to help future-proof themselves for the low-carbon economy. Learn more about our tool here

Climate Leadership

Roundtables and Webinars

We invited many friends, new and old, into our office this year to explore climate leadership during these dynamic times. Our series of roundtable events saw twelve Heads of Sustainability from some of Sweden’s largest organisations enter into meaningful dialogue around their blockers and enablers as they spearhead change.

In other news, Another Tomorrow kicked off a webinar series this fall! Watch out for our next webinar featuring green transition insights from Another Tomorrow.
Logistics

Accelerating low-emissions shipping

2023 was a dynamic year of collaboration with DFDS. We were pleased to support DFDS through the development and launch of their Decarbonised Solutions. This new offering not only diminishes DFDS's carbon footprint but also enables their customers to effectively reduce their Scope 3 emissions.
We kicked off the year with an exploration into the world of alternative fuel use, striving to create a win-win situation for DFDS and their customers. The journey continued as we kicked off a prototyping cycle to design, test and iterate a "certificate" offering. To support the launch, we developed learning materials and a sales tool to help staff and customers untangle the complexity of a unique offering like this.

With the extension of the EU ETS to the shipping industry in 2024, meaningful dialogue and collaboration across the logistics supply chain is business critical. We look forward to supporting more cross-organisational collaboration in the new year.

Change, innovation, and a new direction – an interview with our CEO

Looking for an insightful podcast to accompany you on your holiday road trip? Check out Konsultpodden's recent episode with Staffan Ekholm, CEO of Another Tomorrow. He discusses our own pivot and transition during the past 2 or so years. It's truly been a lesson in walking the talk, and applying to ourselves the advice we tend to give our clients when going through change.

Reshaping breakfast

This spring, Another Tomorrow teamed up with Arla Innovation to shake up breakfast habits for the next gen. Focused on the ever-changing world of today's youth – full of chaos, anxiety, and transparency – Arla Innovation fearlessly explored these pressing needs. We joined forces with Fryshuset, and together established the Youth Advisory Group, a cluster of savvy teens whose insights have guided our journey.

Enter Arla Hack: a one-day event where dozens of industry experts and our Youth Advisory Group cooked up fresh ideas. Think innovative breakfast concepts tackling crazy schedules, sleep struggles, and social disconnection. Post-hack, we fine-tuned these ideas through our Pre-Diagnostic process, pinpointing areas to prototype and test.
Come September, we kicked off a new term with our awesome Youth Advisory Group, blending new and familiar faces. Together, we prototyped a standout concept into reality â€“ a combo of a nutritional vending machine and a slick digital buying experience. We concluded with a high-energy test event at Fryshuset, where 100+ youth voices shaped and validated our concept.

Next up? We’re building upon the process we used during Arla’s annual Learning Day to help embed innovation throughout the organisation. We’re also developing a playbook to help nourishing breakfasts land in Sweden's schools. Moooo!

We'll be taking a short break during the holidays and will be back with love letter #78 mid-January. Thank you for following along on our journey and if you have any ideas, suggestions, feedback for us, please do not hesitate to let us know (just hit the reply button)!

Stay safe and stay curious!
